This Privacy Policy applies to the NeuFeed Like and NeuFeed Unfollow Chrome extensions.
What NeuFeed Processes
When you use NeuFeed on Instagram, the extension may process information shown by Instagram that is needed for the feature you start. This may include your Instagram username and account identifier; usernames, displayed names, profile-image URLs, account IDs, and follow-back status of accounts you follow; local safe-list entries; and feature progress, scan, or action status.
How NeuFeed Uses Information
NeuFeed uses this information only to provide its user-facing features. These include liking posts, showing run progress, scanning accounts you follow that Instagram marks as not following you back, maintaining a local safe list, and performing an unfollow action only after you start a paced run.
Local Storage and Sharing
NeuFeed stores relevant extension data locally in Chrome extension storage on your device. This may include scan results, safe-list entries, action timing, and run progress.
NeuFeed does not operate a separate NeuFeed data server. NeuFeed does not sell, rent, or share user information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
When you start a NeuFeed feature, the extension communicates directly with Instagram on your behalf to read information Instagram displays or perform the action you requested.
Instagram Credentials
NeuFeed does not ask for, store, or transmit your Instagram password or session cookies to NeuFeed. Your Instagram login remains between you and Instagram in your browser.
Data Retention and Control
Local extension data remains in your Chrome profile until it is replaced during normal use, you clear browser or extension data, or you remove the extension. Removing NeuFeed from Chrome removes its local extension data from that Chrome profile.
Third-Party Services
Instagram is a separate service with its own terms, privacy policy, and controls. Your use of NeuFeed does not change Instagram’s rules or your responsibility to follow them.
Changes to This Policy
If NeuFeed changes how it handles user information, this policy will be updated before or when that change takes effect.
